HOME AND GARDEN
Using Nature's Way is easy. Quite frankly, a little can do a lot! It will not burn plants, so don't worry about using too much.

Here are some general tips:

When planting a seed, seedling, or smaller transplants:
Simply use a handful of Nature's Way in the planting hole and cover with soil. It is best to use Nature's Way by itself – additional fertilizer is almost never needed. In fact, if you are using a potting mix, make sure there isn't much fertilizer in it. Other soil conditioners and additives are fine, but you will probably find that most are not necessary.

When planting or repotting larger plants:
Use Nature's Way in a ratio of 1:4 or 1:5 … in other words, approximately 20-25% of the soil or potting medium.

When treating existing trees or bushes:
Make four to six 1”-diameter holes around the drip line (as though you were using fertilizer spikes), and fill them with Nature's Way . Always water after applying Nature's Way .

When treating grasses:
Grass requires anywhere from 800 to 1500 pounds of Nature's Way per acre, depending on soil conditions. Problem areas where grass has a hard time growing will usually require a larger amount. Less may be needed if grass is already present and appears to be growing well.

It is recommended that you aerate before applying Nature's Way , and then water afterwards.
